A little bit about me...
For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to understand life, its challenges and its ever-changing truths. I have always enjoyed learning and finding ways to improve myself as a human being, whether it be on a physical, mental, emotional, spiritual or energetic level. Part of me loves to experiment and then pass on these discoveries and learnings. I also like to translate these concepts into a “digestible” way, easier to assimilate and understand.
Another very important part of my life are the animals. I learn a lot by observing them, by interacting with them, by having the privilege to be around them. I have always loved being around animals, some of them have allowed me to reconnect to who I really am, with others I have been able to feel that authentic connection and feel completely loved and accepted. Everything I have experienced with animals has helped me in different areas of my life including my interpersonal relationships.
This is how interspecies connections make so much sense to me …
Professional background
I started my career in the business world, working in consulting for over 10 years, and what I enjoyed most about that job was helping. Helping companies with various issues they might have. I also liked understanding ways of operating, then simplifying them and making them more efficient and useful. This was important for my mandates and still is during sessions, because in my opinion, what’s simple, we understand better. And what we understand, we can more easily become aware of, and do something about it (e.g. learning the lesson, releasing what’s stuck).
Then, at some point in my life, something different happened. I began to listen more to my intuition and act accordingly. This was particularly unconventional for the forensic accountant in me, who used facts and figures. Long story short, I got the idea of taking horse-riding lessons, which wasn’t so strange. But at the same time, I started a 160-hour training course to learn about horses’ behavior and help them when they have accumulated stress. For a woman who didn’t own a horse, this was starting to make no sense. Then, a few months later, my life took an unexpected turn, as I had just agreed to take a year-long training to work with horses to help humans.
Life can be amazing when we follow our intuition. In those years, I was telling myself: “The less sense it makes, the more I have to listen”. Today, when I look back on my life, I understand the meaning of all those decisions that brought me to where I needed to be… Everything makes so much sense now…
